We are beyond thrilled to announce that IT'S A GIRL!  Savannah is a precious little sweetie, and we can't believe she is ours.  God has truly blessed us!  Here are a few shots from her birthday and hospital stay.  We have quite the birth story which I will be posting soon, with all the details!

Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the big day!  24 hours from now we will be holding our sweet little baby.  I can hardly believe it!  I am sooo excited to meet this child, and the fact that we don't know what it is, makes it all the more fun.  I have been having contractions all week (mostly at night), so I was kind of hoping I would have gone into labor by now, but I guess that didn't happen.  9:30 am tomorrow is the c-section and all prayers for a safe delivery, healthy baby, and easy recovery are welcome!  I hope I am able to sleep tonight!  Here are my last belly shots.  37 weeks and 39 weeks.  I had a lady ask me yesterday, if I was having twins.  Ummm... no, but thanks for making me feel huge. ;)

We have been trying to soak up this last week with just our family of four, and have had a wonderful relaxing weekend.  The weather has been so nice in the mornings that we have eaten breakfast outside in our PJs, played and had fun watching the Aggie game yesterday.  Here are our little Aggies, with their Aggie gear from Auntie E!

One morning we discovered that we had a little bunny nest with 4 baby bunnies.  We HATE the bunnies because they tear up our yard, but the kids enjoy watching them, so that is a plus.

Luke was trying to feed the bunnies.

This pic cracks me up.

Sweet Audrey with her bed head and PJs.

We are so very blessed by these two, and can't believe we will have 3 by tomorrow!  Stay tuned for the next blog post, all about baby #3!

Audrey's 2 Year Check-Up

Audrey had her check-up the same day as Luke, and didn't get any shots, so she was a happy girl!  She is doing great, right on track, and still doing awesome with the potty (pee only).  After two weeks of school, she has been dry, so I was super excited about that.  She seems so tiny, so we were curious to see what her stats would be.  Here they are, with a comparison to last year.

1 Year Stats:
  • Weight: 19 pounds 14.5 ounces (30-35%)
  • Height: 2 feet 5 inches (85-90%)
  • Head: 18 inches (75-90%)

2 Year Stats:
  • Weight: 26 pounds (25-50%)
  • Height: 2 feet 9 inches (75-90%)
  • Head: 19 inches (75-90%)
She weighed more than we thought, but is still on the petit side, and a tall girl!  I'm not short, but I'm not tall either, and neither is any female in my family.  Brian's sister and mom are tall, so she may be taking after them.  Once again... we will see!

Audrey is still very sweet, but her sass may now be overpowering that!  She is definitely strong willed and starting to need more and more discipline.  She is VERY independent, and wants to do EVERYTHING herself.  This can be frustrating at times, as it makes simple tasks take 3x as long.  I am thankful for her independent spirit, but sometimes mama just wants to put your socks and shoes on and get out of the house! ;)  She too, likes to dress up, and is ALL ABOUT BABIES!  She is obsessed with baby dolls, and feeds them, changes diapers, cooks for them all day long.  She will LOVE being a big sister!  She is doing great at school, and they tell me she is a very good helper.  Here are some pics of Audrey recently.

First shiner.  She ran into the wall at the hospital after we visited Ali when Rebecca was born.  Not sure if you remember, but Luke got stitches on his eye the day I brought Audrey home from the hospital, so I guess these injuries may be a trend.  Here's to hoping we are injury free when we have the new baby in 3 short days!

Time out.

She sets up things like this for her babies all the time.

Luke's 4 Year Check-Up

Luke and Audrey had their annual check-ups yesterday.  I will start off with a post about Luke's appointment.  Well...  I had planned on bringing the two kids by myself, fully thinking it would be no big deal, but after talking to my friends who just took their kids for the 4 year well check, I changed my mind.  Thank God I did!  At 9 months pregnant, there would have been no way I could have held him down for those 4 shots and he was pretty much inconsolable for about 15 minutes after.  Brian ended up coming, which was a blessing, and unfortunately, Luke was so upset after the shots that he peed all over Daddy!  Yikes!  Soooo thankful he was there. ;)

Luke is doing great and he is right on track.  Here are his official stats, and I thought it would be fun to compare them to last year.

3 Year Stats:
  • weight: 37.4 lbs (90-95%)
  • height: 3 feet 2 inches (50-60%)
4 Year Stats:
  • weight: 42 lbs (80-90%)
  • height: 3 feet 4 inches (50-60%)
We still have a pretty heavy dude on our hands, but he is mostly just a solid little ball of muscle.  He is still standing strong at about the 50% for height, which should be interesting.  The shortest male in my family is 6 foot, and the shortest in Brian's is 6' 3'', so you would think he would be tall.  I guess we will see!

Luke is such a sweet boy, a talker, and a lover of all things pretend.  He loves doing anything his daddy is doing.  He definitely has his temper tantrums, but also has a heart of gold.  He tells me all the time, "Mommy, you are beautiful", and notices little things that I would never expect a 4 year old to notice.  He loves his sister, and is just the best big brother.  We just love him to pieces and are blessed to be his parents.  Here are some recent photos of our little guy, as well as some art work.  He has recently really been into drawing and is getting better and better.

Making a bed for Bunny Bear.

Was suppose to be sleeping, but found him at the top of the stairs like this!

So proud of the sunflowers that he planted from seeds.

Again, he was suppose to be sleeping in his room.

Celebrating Mr. & Mrs. Gibson!

My brother is officially married!  Wow, that is totally crazy!  He and Ashley got married this weekend, and it could not have gone better.  It was such a joyful day filled with love, laughter and fun!  They are a wonderful couple, and Rett has truly found his match in Ashley.  She is so easy to add to the family, and we all couldn't be more excited!  I haven't posted any of the previous festivities, so I thought I would just do all of that in one big post!

Here was the kick off.... The Bridal shower at Gather in downtown McKinney.  It was a cute little tea house and my mom's friends did an awesome job hosting.

The next event was a couples shower thrown by one of Ashley's friends.  It was a backyard bash in August that could have been sweltering, but the Lord blessed us with an awesome breezy night!  It was so much fun.  Any black and white photo you see, was taken by one of the bridesmaids husband.  She is the dark haired one (Lisa), and her husband, Denmark, is an awesome photographer.  Thanks for the pics!

Rett and the boys enjoyed a bachelor party at the lake one weekend (don't have any pics of that), and the following weekend the girls went to Fredericksburg for the bachelorette party.  I have really enjoyed getting to know Ashley's friends, and we all got along so well.  It was a blast.  The bride was a sport in her fancy gloves, Bride tank, and garter!

This weekend was so much fun, and I am happy to say I made it, and am still pregnant!  Yes!  I never really worried I would have the baby before the wedding, but being 38 weeks pregnant, you just never know!  So thank God for his perfect timing!  Here are pics from the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.   Father Kelly has now married 3 out of 4 Gibson children!  We love him and are so blessed by this.

Rehearsal Dinner at Cru Wine Bar.  My mom did a great job, it was so much fun!

I was not very good at getting pics the day of the wedding, but I am sure there will be plenty to choose from when we see what the photographer did!  Here is a little sneak peak of the day.

Audrey got her first mani in honor of the big event.  She loved it!

Luke was obsessed with his outfit.  He felt so cool!

It was truly a magical night, and one we will never forget.  My brother decided he wanted to wear my Pepaw's wedding ring as his own, and it was so special seeing that ring on his finger.  Pepaw was definitely there in spirit.  Welcome to our crazy family, Ashley!  Here's to a marriage filled with many blessings!
