Pre-Thanksgiving Day Fun

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving break.  Brian was able to take a few days off and we just enjoyed hanging out, going on walks, and getting the house organzied.  Luke had a Thanksgiving feast the week prior, and we super excited to be an Indian.  He sure is a cute one!

On Tuesday we were able to join Papa for the Thanksgiving feast at his place.  Luke insisted on wearing his Indian costume, and was a hit! Thanks Papa for the invite!

Another fun day of the break was spent with Isabelle.  She got to come over and play, and the kids had a blast.  We are loving our new house, and one of the main perks is the outdoors.  We moved to a house that is about 20 years old, and the neighborhood is full of big trees.  I am loving it!  Luke has loved climbing trees, playing in the fallen leaves, and has enjoyed riding bikes on our flat driveway. (Our previous driveway was pretty steep, and very hard to play on).  We are truly in love with this house, and it is one of the many things we are thankful to God for this year.

Look of terror!  Haha, he was totally fine!

Blog Help

I posted about this awhile back, but I am having the same issue again.  I am trying to upload pictures and it wont let me.  It says I have no more space available.  A few months ago when this happened, I just erased some previous blog posts, and then did not have a problem.  I tried that this time, and no go.  It says I need to purchase more space.  If this is the only option, I will do it, but wondering if anyone else has had this issue.  Any input is much appreciated!

iPhone Pics Volume 2

The following iPhone pics pretty much sum up what we have been up to in the past couple of weeks.

We moved out of our house!  The kids loved the POD and overall we had a smooth move.

POD fun, before my husband jigsaw puzzled his way into packing this baby to the brim!

Our empty house.  This was a wonderful house and we were sad to leave.  It will always have a special place in our hearts.

After moving out, we had a 2 weeks before we could move into our new house.  Tula and Pop were generous enough to let us stay with them.  We had so much fun.  Here is a picture Luke drew at their house.  I asked him who it is of, and he says, "This is me, Mom.  See, here is my face, here is my hair, here is my wee wee, here are my arms..."  Uh, back up a minute, did he just draw his wee wee??!  Oh the life of having a boy! ;)

Cute Audrey toes in Tula's high chair.

Ali and Will were between houses as well, coincendentally, and we got a lot of cousin time in!

Tula spoiled us rotten, and Audrey is sporting one of the many cute clothing items provided by Tula.

Luke just being Luke.

Cousin time again!

Luke had a blast in this wig.  When you cover up his brown hair, he looks a lot like me as a child.

Not only did we get to stay under their roof for 2 weeks, but we also got a great date night in.  We spent an evening on the McKinney Sqaure.  My dad's office is on the sqaure, and this is the view from his window.  So fun!

We moved into our new house 3 days before Halloween.  Here is our Astronaut outside of Walmart.

Cute Strawberry in our new backyard.
I just loved this tiny bow!

We are loving our new house!  It is a dream, and we feel amazingly blessed.  Things don't always go as planned, but I hope to die in this house! ;)

During all the chaos of moving, Audrey and I still had time to vote.

One of many Home Depot runs.  The kids loved this racecar shopping cart.
Our good friend, Jason, was running a marathon, and Luke was a big supporter.

Audrey's hair is getting pigtail eligible.  It is so stinkin' cute!

Sweet girl getting ready for bible study.
Love her to pieces!

I'll leave you with one final pic...Luke's school picture.  It cracks me up!  I have never seen him smile like this, and he is obviously being posed.  Hilarious!

Little Gym Halloween Party & Preschool Parade

Last weekend we went to The Little Gym Halloween party.  Luke goes to The Little Gym once a week, and we have loved it.  The one in McKinney is run by super sweet people that love the Lord, and have real hearts for children.  I can't say enough good things about them.  The Halloween carnival was no exception, and here are the pictures to prove it!

Bounce Pad fun.

It was a bit of a mad house, but Audrey held her own. ;)

Showing off his balancing skills.

He was pretty good at the football toss, but we will have to work on his form. =)

Sweet girl.

The monster slide was the big hit!

One of the teachers was even kind enough to take Audrey with her.

I also wanted to document Luke's annual Halloween parade at school.  He loved walking in the gym showing off his astronaut costume.  Audrey was mesmirized by all the kids.

Happy Halloween!!

We had a wonderful and hectic Halloween!  We moved into our new house on Sunday and are trying to get settled, so things have been a bit crazy!  Despite all the chaos, we were able to squeeze in some Halloween fun, and the kids loved it.  Early in the day, Benjamin came over to show us his costume.  He was the cutest little garden gnome you ever did see!  Poor thing is getting some serious molars, so he wasn't in the best mood.  Below is our best shot...boo! (my kids weren't really helping with making this picture work either!)

After Benjamin left Luke decided Bunny Bear needed a costume.  After much contemplation, Luke decided he should be Scully, the pirate parrot on Jake And The Neverland Pirates.  Well, we got to work on some wings, and Luke was very pleased with the results. =)

Our first stop for trick-or-treating was to see Papa.  He lives in an assisted living home in McKinney, and the kids had fun showing off their costumes.  Little did we know, there was an entire room of people waiting for some trick-or-treaters, and Luke and Audrey scored BIG on the candy.  The residents were so excited to see our kids, and their faces just lit up.  I highly recommend trick-or-treating at a nursing home, as I could tell it brought a lot of joy to these people.

The ladies insisted on turning on this dancing skeleton for the kids.  It was...interesting. =)

Luke in a sea of mostly old ladies.  They ate him up, and he loved every minute of it!

After seeing Papa, we headed to Nonnie and Grandpa's house.  Luke was on a mission!

Next up, Tula and Pop's!

Finally, we headed home and trick-or-treated on our new street.  We were able to meet our new neighbors, and we are so excited about where we are living! Here are the kids waiting in front of our new house.

Overall it was a great night.  Luke had a blast, and Audrey really enjoyed putting candy in her pumpkin.  We are beyond blessed, and I thank God for my sweet little family, as well as extended family that we get to be so close to.
