We had a wonderful thanksgiving and have so much to be thankful for! Here is Luke at his Thanksgiving feast. Below that is a paper he brought home. Melt my heart. This boy amazes me, and I am so thankful for his heart for the Lord.
The last week before Thanksgiving, Nonnie was the mystery reader in Luke's class!
Audrey had a feast as well, and I picked Savannah up early, so she could come too.

The weekend before Thanksgiving we took the kids to The Heard Museum for some hiking and dinosaur fun. We found some giant trees!
Unfortunately, our break was filled with sickness. A stomach bug ripped through our house first, then the Schmids, and then poor Tula and Pop. 7 victims in all! Brian and Luke were spared, and Audrey probably got it the worst. I was down for the count and while Brian was manning the early morning risers, I come out and find everyone is back asleep. Love this picture.
Savannah was patient zero, and only threw up once, so she got to go run some fun errands with her Daddy.
Our house looked like this for a few days.
After the sickness cleared, we headed to the lake. We had a wonderful time!
We are in the process of putting in a pool in our backyard. Due to all the rain, we came home and found it almost all the way full with rainwater! The plaster hasn't been applied yet, so all that water had to be pumped out. Bummer! Would have been nice to have free water. =)
After we got home, we enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with Nonnie and Grandpa. We are truly blessed!
Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all others. -Psalm 95:2-3
