Christmas 2016



This is one long post!  We had a wonderful December full of Christmas cheer!  The kids had a lot of fun school activities.  Luke got picked to play Santa in his Reader's Theatre for A Night Before Christmas.  He did a great job!

His class had a fun party in the gym. 

Audrey had a blast at her class party.

And got to go to the nursing home across the street to sing carols to the residents.

Audrey sang her heart out at her Christmas program.  Rebecca's class went on the same day as Audrey, so that was special.  Savannah's class was the following day, so she got to be a goofy audience member.

Savannah's class only came in for 1 song, but she did great!

Her class party was a hit as well!

The kids got to do some fun things with their grandparents.  Tula and Pop took  them to The Gift of Christmas.  They ate yummy hamburgers before and had so much fun!

They made gingerbread houses with Nonnie.

Both girls had little Christmas dance shows and did great!

We decorated our tree.

Made cookies.

Even a very sick Daddy helped.  Brian was a trooper, he got diagnosed with pneumonia Christmas Eve and it knocked him out!

We looked at Christmas lights.

Went to Christmas Eve church. 

Woke up Christmas morning to some fun Santa goodies.

Celebrated with the Gahans on Christmas day.

We celebrated Christmas on the 26th with the Gibsons.

The kids got asked to be in Uncle Grant and Aunt Jessica's wedding!

Over the break, Audrey found her love for fried eggs.  Haha!

We celebrated New Years Eve with our little family, raking leaves, hot tubing, and hanging twinkly lights!  Overall is was an amazing break!

Santa Sittin' 2016

We had a visit with the big guy early this year.  It felt so good to get our Santa visit in before it was even December.  Haha!  The holidays are so crazy, it was nice to not feel rushed, and there was no line!  We will definitely be repeating the early Santa visit in the future.  We went to Stonebriar mall this year, and it was great.  It was our first year not to have a screaming kid, which was a bit sad for me.  I love a good crying Santa pic!

Thanksgiving



We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  The kids had fun things at school, and we had a blast out at the lake.  Audrey's class had the biggest celebration, complete with a play.  She was the cutest pilgrim ever.  

I was working for Savannah's feast, so Nonnie came to the rescue to be with our girl. 

Luke celebrated with some buds and some cafeteria food.

We headed out to the lake for gorgeous weather!  Audrey was Tula's little helper and got the table all ready.

Luke was so happy to finally shoot an arrow through the bottle.  (I wont tell you how close he got to do this!)

The newly engaged couple!  We are so happy Grant found Jessica.  She is a blessing for sure!

Thanksgiving bonfire.

Tula always knows how to make things extra special.  She made a tree that we all wrote on leaves what we were thankful for.  The kids loved it.
