The Great Outdoors

We have been enjoying the warmer weather around here, and have taken every opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors.  When we moved, outdoor space was huge on our list, and we feel so blessed with new home.  We have been enjoying it to the fullest, and couldn't be happier. 

 

A few weeks ago, we got a new play set for our backyard.  Luke was so excited to help daddy put it up, and it has been a source of nonstop fun for weeks.  Here is Luke enjoying it mid-build with his class monkey, Marvin.



 

Audrey Girl is an outdoor fan as well, and loves driving her little car all over the driveway, backyard, you name it.

Memaw was in town a few weekends ago, and we had her over, as well as Tula and Pop, for a yummy dinner.  The weather was great, and we got to enjoy hot air balloons over the house.

In our family, being outside usually results in grilling of some sort.  Luke has to get in on the action as well. 

Our grilling just went to the next level with this bad boy.  My husband is in heaven with his new toy!  We have been enjoying some yummy meals, that taste even yummier when Mommy doesn't have to cook them. ;)

 

Luke is a dress up fool, and about a year ago was in a pirate stage.  Well... we have moved on to super heroes, and our house has never felt so safe. :)

 

Spring is just around the corner, and no doubt we will be enjoying what it has to offer!  Feeling blessed!

Dallas Park

About a month ago, Brian went with the kids, Nonnie, Grandpa, Aunt Tracy, Uncle Jeff, and Olaya to the new park in Dallas. (I don't know the name, but it was built over one of the freeway tunnels.)  I was sad I couldn't go, I had to work, but I heard it was very cool, and the kids loved it!  Here are some pics from the day.  

 

Aunt Tracy was also in town for awhile, and the kids just can't get enough of her.  What a fun Aunt she is! We love our Aunt Tracy! 

Desserts With Dad

Thursday night was Desserts with Dads at Luke's school.  Luke was so excited about it, and told me repeatedly all week that there were no moms allowed.  Well, excuse me... ;). Luke loved showing off his classroom to Daddy, and had a few surprises in store.  They made it home with all of this loot!

LOVE Day

Brian and I celebrated 8 years last week!  We started off the celebration with a stomach bug for all!  We have been together for a total of 14 years.  Crazy!

On our way to our anniversay date there was a tiny spot rainbow in the sky.   I have never seen anything like it.
