Well...in the past 19 months, this boy has managed to cut his head on three separate occasions, needing three different types of medical intervention. The first incident happened the day we brought Audrey home from the hospital...yes that is correct! He fell off the couch and hit his eye on the coffee table. That one needed stitches. Then about 6 months ago, he was goofing off at dinner and his hand slipped and he hit his eye again (yes, the same eye!). That one needed Dermabond. On Monday, he was pretending to be Shrek in the shower taking a mud bath, slipped and hit his head on the shower bench. Cut number #3! He had blood streaming down his head, but after the initial shock, was jumping around like a crazy man, and said his head didn't even hurt. Even though he was "pain free", he needed some medical attention, and was seen at Acute Kids for 5 staples in his head. My gosh, this boy is a mess! I honestly don't even know another kid his age who has even had one incident, so three is a little ridiculous!

All those medical supplies don't scare him. He's an old pro! ;)
Precious boy, post-staples. He thought the head wrap was so cool, and insisted wearing it to school the next day. That sure got him some attention!
He is doing great now, and the staples come out on Monday. I have a feeling this won't be our last incident. We sure have one rough and tumble little guy!
