Luke's TK class has gone on several field trips this year. In January they went to the Mckinney Food Pantry, and today they went to the fire station. We love his class and his teachers, and Luke has had such an amazing year with them.
They started off the Food Pantry trip with a stop at Kroger. The class had been collecting money all year and then they divided it up per kid, and each kid got to shop for what they wanted to bring to the pantry.

After the shopping we all headed to the food pantry and got a tour. The kids learned how everything worked and how the food was distributed. It was a great learning experience.
Today, we headed to the McKinney Fire Department. Luke has been so excited for this trip.
The firemen were so nice and explained how everything worked. They even answered my kid's 1,000 questions.
Luke was fascinated by the pole. They actually use it!
Savannah got to tag along, and was soooo good. =)
Luke drew this picture for the firemen. I was really impressed! His art skills have really started to develop over the past month or so.
Today was his last field trip as a preschooler. Kindergarten... he we come!
