The kid's school had their Second Annual Fun Run to raise money for new turf for their playground. Audrey had no clue what was going on, and Luke took things very seriously! Luke's class was up first.
Audrey was a different story. She ran out of the gate, but then saw me, turned around and stood by me for the majority of the run.
Her teacher finally coaxed her back in, and she finished strong. Both kids had so much fun, and enjoyed some yummy ice cream after.
Saturday was Luke's "championship" soccer game. Really, it was just his last game, and was a regular one at that, but he insisted that it was the championship. HaHa! He woke up bright and early, and was fully dressed, shin guards and all, when he came down in the morning. He even did drills in the morning to get ready. To say he was excited, was an understatement.
I didn't get many pictures, but got some great video. He did awesome! He scored several goals, and really seemed to "get" the game. He was playing with intention and trying to move the ball away from players. We were so proud of the effort he put into all his games, and it was so fun to go watch!
Audrey girl, was so happy when the game was over, she ran onto the field into her daddy's arms. It was too cute!
Luke had quite the fan base at the "championship". Between grandparents, cousins, siblings, and aunts and uncles, his cheering section included 12 people, haha! He was so happy Ben was there to watch.
The "champions"!
Audrey wanted a picture with our champion.
The Falcons. Luke had a great first season!
so cute! Levi is going to play this fall for the first time and I hope it goes as well. Love all the pictures of your little athlete:)
