Fall Soccer
Luke had a great soccer season. His team may have not won any games, but the kids had fun, and that is all that matters. A little tough to watch for this competitive mama, but Luke didn't seem to care! =) Brian was the assistant coach this year, and Luke got to make some new friends. Pictures below are from his last game, when he finally scored a goal! He was so excited! The game was pretty chilly, but that didn't stop these kids.

Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas celebrating with lots of family. We started off on Christmas Eve going to our church's children's service. It is such a neat experience, and very geared towards the kids. There are kids everywhere during the service, and no one cared when Savannah escaped and went sprinting down the aisle! I wasn't to happy about having to chase after her in my dress, but at least people got a laugh out of it.
After church, we headed home for dinner with just the 5 of us, a Christmas movie, and readings of The Night Before Christmas and The Christmas Story. Savannah refused to wear her Christmas PJs, and I just pick my battles with that one.
Christmas morning they woke up super excited. Luke woke up multiple times throughout the night unable to sleep. The big gifts this year, were a dollhouse for the girls, and a camera for Luke.
After presents, we enjoyed a birthday breakfast for Jesus, and then we headed over to Nonnie and Grandpa's house. Aunt Tracy was out of town, but we enjoyed time with Uncle Jeff and Aunt Olaya.
Luke recieved a picture of himself with Darth Vader and the Storm Troppers. It was finially revealed to him that his Grandpa was that Storm Tropper, and his mind was blown!
The weather was so nice that we enjoyed time outside by the fire. Audrey and Savannah also got cameras from Nonnie and Grandpa, so there were many pictures being taken.
On the 26th, we headed to Tula and Pop's. Again, we enjoyed the beautiful weather!
We had a delicious feast, thanks to Tula.
Then relaxed, played games, took naps, and some people got back rubs from Pop. (See picture below) The kids also prepared a wonderful play about a Christmas fairy. It was too cute!
We opened presents... Audrey and I loved our fur vests.
Audrey also received this precious shirt from the Schmids.
And Savannah was living it up!
On the 27th, we headed back to my parents house for the Neptune family Christmas. We loved seeing the Dodges, and getting to hug on baby Tate.
Memaw got my mom some PJ pants, that were obviously too big!!! It was hilarious!
It's all fun and games until someone pinches your booty. Our best family Christmas shot. =)
We feel overwhelmed with blessings this year, and praise the one from whom all blessings flow! We are grateful to be able to celebrate the birth of our Savior with all our favorite people, and to be be chosen by HIM! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Prep and Programs
We had a wonderful Christmas and started early by getting our tree up before Thanksgiving! This was Savannah's first year to understand things a little, and she had so much fun. Here we are trimming the tree.
My girls helped bake the sugar cookies, and only ate about half the dough this year, haha!
The boys joined in on the decorating, and Luke decided he didn't want to get his new shirt dirty, so he put on a manly bib. ;)
Both Audrey and Luke had fun Christmas parties.
Savannah's class didn't have a party, but she lived it up during her sister's.
Audrey performed so well in her Christmas program. She was a bit preoccupied with buttoning up her sweater in a weird pattern, but was still as cute as a bug.
We had a fun time at the train park with our cousins. Audrey loves her baby.
Tula and Pop's Annual Christmas Cousin Breakfast was a hit!
And we took our traditional Christmas swim.... Wait, what?!! We got a pool! Construction ended right before Christmas, and with temps in the mid 70s the kids were dying to take a dip. They didn't last long!
We may have to make this Christmas swim an annual tradition, see who can last the longest!
