Dinosaurs!

Over the Thanksgiving break, we headed out to the Heard Museum here in McKinney.  They have an annual dinosaur exhibit, and we have been meaning to go for years.  The weather was great, and there was so much to do!  I remember coming here once or twice as a kid, and it was very small, and not that exciting.  Well, they have added a lot, and we will definitely be going back.

We started out by walking the trails and seeing all the dinosaurs.  They moved, made noise, and one even spit on you.  That was Luke's favorite, go figure.

After seeing all the dinos, we went to walk through the live animal portion.  Audrey loved this raccoon.

The kids then played for awhile at the outdoor pioneer village.

We then had lunch in the theater.  Gorgeous day!

After lunch we headed inside, and saw more animals, fossils, and other neat exhibits.  Luke's favorite thing was the snake room.  Yuck!  Needless to say, we had a great morning here, and could have easily stayed a few more hours.  Highly recommended!
