Thankful

We have an abundance to be thankful for this year!  We are thankful for our God, our babies, our family, our new house, our health, our jobs... the list could go on and on.  What I am most particularly thankful for this year is health.  I feel like recently I am surrounded by families going through health issues, especially involving children.  I look at my children every day, and thank God above for their healthy little bodies that allow them to run, jump, play and enjoy this life we have been blessed with.  We are most recently praying for a sweet boy in Luke's class who was just diagnosed with cancer.  I can't imagine what this family is going through, and it really makes you realize that everyday on this earth is truly a gift.  It is so easy to get wrapped up in everything and lose sight of that.  Thank you Lord, for my sweet, precious, perfect babies, and most importantly your undeserving, unrelenting love for us.

Thanksgiving this year was a fun time with family, and was the first time in 12 years that all the Gahan siblings were in McKinney.  We started off the festivities at Nonnie and Grandpa's, and had a wonderful, lazy day.

Nonnie busted out this old go cart, and Luke, along with all of the engineers in the family put it together. Audrey wasn't too sure about it. ;)

Turkey coma.

Aunt Tracy love.

On Friday we headed out to the lake for a quick trip, and in true lake fashion, had a wonderful time.  There was lots of lounging.

Will made this delicious appetizer of dove, bacon, jalapeno, and cream cheese.  Yummy!

The fall scenery was gorgeous and we enjoyed the outdoors to the fullest!

Ashley and Rett brought a dance game and the Wii out, and we had so much fun!  Boy that sure was a workout, and burned off some of that turkey!  Luke was loving every second.

We are so blessed to have two sides of the family who just shower our kids with love.
