Happy Halloween!!

We had a wonderful and hectic Halloween!  We moved into our new house on Sunday and are trying to get settled, so things have been a bit crazy!  Despite all the chaos, we were able to squeeze in some Halloween fun, and the kids loved it.  Early in the day, Benjamin came over to show us his costume.  He was the cutest little garden gnome you ever did see!  Poor thing is getting some serious molars, so he wasn't in the best mood.  Below is our best shot...boo! (my kids weren't really helping with making this picture work either!)

After Benjamin left Luke decided Bunny Bear needed a costume.  After much contemplation, Luke decided he should be Scully, the pirate parrot on Jake And The Neverland Pirates.  Well, we got to work on some wings, and Luke was very pleased with the results. =)

Our first stop for trick-or-treating was to see Papa.  He lives in an assisted living home in McKinney, and the kids had fun showing off their costumes.  Little did we know, there was an entire room of people waiting for some trick-or-treaters, and Luke and Audrey scored BIG on the candy.  The residents were so excited to see our kids, and their faces just lit up.  I highly recommend trick-or-treating at a nursing home, as I could tell it brought a lot of joy to these people.

The ladies insisted on turning on this dancing skeleton for the kids.  It was...interesting. =)

Luke in a sea of mostly old ladies.  They ate him up, and he loved every minute of it!

After seeing Papa, we headed to Nonnie and Grandpa's house.  Luke was on a mission!

Next up, Tula and Pop's!

Finally, we headed home and trick-or-treated on our new street.  We were able to meet our new neighbors, and we are so excited about where we are living! Here are the kids waiting in front of our new house.

Overall it was a great night.  Luke had a blast, and Audrey really enjoyed putting candy in her pumpkin.  We are beyond blessed, and I thank God for my sweet little family, as well as extended family that we get to be so close to.
