1 Month Old

Audrey turned 1 month old on Friday. I can't believe a month has already flown by. We are having so much fun with our girl, and couldn't be more blessed. We don't go back to the doctor until she is 2 months, so no official stats. I did, however, weigh her on our scale this weekend, and she is up to 11 pounds. Not sure where that puts her percentile wise, but I am willing to bet she is on the higher end on the scale. Here are some other facts about our girl.

• Just graduated to size 1 diapers, but we can squeeze her into the leftover newborns ;)
• Still wears newborn clothes, but can also fit into some 3 months
• Is starting to really track with her eyes, and loves following her daddy around
• Much better head control, but still pretty floppy
• She seems to be very serious, observant, and looks like she is studying everyone. My mom told me I was this way as a baby.
• Not a big tummy time person
• Has an explosion of the dreaded "baby acne" that started the day she turned 1 month
• She is a big time sleeper, but unfortunately has her days and nights mixed up. During the day she really will only be up for an hour at a time before she gets sleepy again, but after the first night feeding she will be wide awake for 2-3 hours. She is not crying, she just likes to stare at everyone. So needless, to say we are pretty tired over here. Yesterday I tried very hard to keep her up longer during the day, and I am happy to say she had two 4 hours stretches with only a 1 hour wake up period in between. Hoping this trend continues!

We are so thankful for this little girl in our lives, and it has already been so fun to see Luke interact with her. God is good! The below picture was taken at the end of her 1 month photo session. I told you this girl was a sleeper!
