Preschool Open House

Tonight we went to Open House at Luke's school. He was so excited to show off his classroom, and some of his art work. We enjoyed meeting some of his little friends, and seeing what he had been doing everyday. We couldn't be happier with the school we chose, and Luke just loves it! Here he is with his daddy showing off "the man". It is obviously a tracing of Luke's body, but if you asked him if it was Luke, he would look at you confused and say "no, I'm Luke" and point to himself. =) With his teacher, Ms. Kathy.

The fire department came to visit Luke's school last week. Luke had been talking about it for a few weeks and was very excited. When I picked him up from school the day they visited, the teachers told me he had a meltdown. Apparently, he was into the presentation the firemen gave and was listened very intently. Then when it was time to go to see the truck outside, he freaked out. They were not sure why, maybe the siren? Anyways...he wouldn't go near the truck and missed out on the class picture. The sweet teachers wanted to include him on the board, so they took a picture of him by himself. Seeing this made me laugh. =)

It was so fun to see Luke so excited about his school. Open House was so much fun, and I know we will have many more in our future.
